Hello, world!
What comes to your mind the moment you hear the word "Learning"? The answers can vary, for everyone it's different, a person can relate it to their daily life experiences, what they learn at school/college, learning at work, or any professional training.
Every individual has unique qualities and that's what makes them special. For me learning is important, I learn daily while at work, interacting with friends/family members, and even while shopping. I recently met with a salesperson at a store, he was new to operating the PoS equipment, and he extended my help since I was getting late. In the whole process of assisting him, I was able to learn about how the PoS machine works, and what all buttons are being used for. Before this day, I was just swiping my card in the card panel of a PoS machine, and now I know how it functions.
I do not want to sound like a question bank to you all. However, what's the next step after you have learned something? Answers can be, I utilize my learning at work, home, doing business dealings, etc. If you ask me then my answer reciprocates the same, with an addition, how I can help others with my learning experiences. I believe sharing is caring when it comes to helping someone accomplish a task. I not only help the person with the work, but I also always aim to educate them on how it's done. It only helps them to become self-dependent but also develops confidence in the individual. My thought, this is the best help one can do in someone's life. This can be the best example of giving back to society.
Often my colleagues, friends, and well-wishers, advise me not to share my ways else one day people start defeating me in competition. The management might switch to the others and may not give me opportunities at work. I listen to their thoughts however I follow what my mind says.
I question myself- Why should I not help others to learn? If they do well then this will help create more experienced professionals which can reduce the work pressure and outcomes would be more positive at work. People feel more connected at work, feel confident, and would always feel motivated.
For me, the next step after learning is to share the knowledge with the people involved and empower the individuals who are associated with us by educating them on what we learn. This will make a difference and would definitely give us great satisfaction.
My 2 Cents- Next time if you learn something new, or have any skill, share that knowledge with people, help others grow, and let's add values to empower the world with a small step!
